For the February JDMST End Of Month Meet, we figured we’d make the most of the sunny weather and host a pre-meet prior to the event. We where surprised by the amount of cars that arrived!

The pre-meet was held at the Western Sydney Regional park in Sydney’s South-West, and was an ideal location due to it’s open area and allowed for a easy drive to the EOMM.

The actual meet itself was held at the Temple Dogz MMA car park. The venue had such a good layout and comfortably fit the large amount of cars that attended.

On arrival, one of the most catching cars of the day would have had to been Adrian’s AE86. Obviously inspired by Takumi’s AE86 from Initial D, featuring classic Wantanabe’s, Japanese “Fujiwara Tofu Shop” decal on the side and panda paint scheme. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a box of Tofu visible from the rear hatch and a cup of water on the dash!

It’s also good to see that the car has been kept clean.

In true Sydney summer, the weather was hot. Majority of the crowd found shade and kept cool throughout the day

John Zhang’s S15 in a a new guise! Formerly white, the car has been sprayed in a dark green/grey (?). The owner has gone through 3 S15′s, and has recently started drifting. It’ll be interesting to see where John goes with this Silvia.

Neat looking 180sx Type X, with a slight poke on the RPF1′s

This Evo 8, is wearing some interesting looking aero modifications on the front. With Canards and a chunky looking lip

Here a few four door turbo sedans. Although the Toyota Chaser JZX100 shares common traits with the Evo’s, the Chaser is a completely different car used for other purposes (ie drifting).

They’ve gained popularity in recent years. Most likely due to the growth of drifting, but also due to the increase in supply from import dealers, and Japanese enthusiasts looking for something unique from the usual, Honda and Nissan platforms. Besides, what’s not to love about a big four door sedan with a 1JZ?

Great turnout for the February JDMST meet

A highlight of the meet would have been Sergio Capozzi’s recent purchase; a Vertex Ridge fitted Midnight Purple 3 S15. The colour is intense, with a chameleon effect with the copper and purple coming out in different angles.

The car is also wearing some very big 20inch SP1 Professors, and inside you’ll find a pair of sexy Bride Stradia’s. To compliment the exterior, the engine has also had some work done to it. Featuring a 2.2L SR20 fully built with a Precision 6262 Turbo.

The car has sparked love/hate comments on the JDMST forums, in reference to Sergio’s addition of the custom lip added to the front bar and side skirts.

A Midnight Purple R32 GTR would eventually become a collectors item in a few years (imo).

This example, as quite evident in the photos, has had some serious guard modifications. The stock R32 GTR guards look quite pumped compared to it’s non-GTR counter parts, but the owner of this car went to a whole new level. The fat profile tyres, and small diameter mesh wheels look the part too.

A nice and very low DC5R sitting on polished SSR SP1 Professors.

…… the DC5R wasn’t the only thing low at the meet

Really digging the look of this Zenki S14. Such a simple car aesthetically, with a Zenki Navan front bar, 17/18 Staggered Work XD9′s and a roof wing as an accessory This is all a street Silvia needs to be!

We spotted this Toyota Mark II Corona at the AAS meet a few weeks ago.

Roberts nicely fitted EG, with a full roll cage. Stayed tuned for more photos.

If there was ever a day we needed a ice cream truck….

Van’s Autech S15 getting low next to Sergio’s MP3 Vertex Ridge S15.

Gorgeous R34 GTR with Z tune aero.

I thought we’d leave the post with a photo of the ‘KSR” R34 GTR. This car is just oozing awesome with it’s tasteful modifications. The car has had a update from recent outings, with the owner adding a raised OEM rear wing. Those clean shaved Z tune guards with the LED Ganadors are a nice subtle touch.
